DRAGON'S DEN (THIRD SECTOR STYLE)

Following the recent runaway success of the Glasgow Social Care Providers Forum's Dragon's Den event in Glasgow, Neil Campbell, our Managing Director made good on his pledge of providing a laptop to budding entrepreneurs John and Irene.
John and Irene pitched their printing business plan to Neil, who took on the role of a Dragon for the day at Quarriers. Having faith in their business plan, Neil contributed the laptop to enable them to produce laminated calendars, greetings cards and photography projects.
Intrelate wish John and Irene all the best with their new venture and thank Quarriers for inviting us to take part in such a rewarding social enterprise experience.
INTRELATE STAFF TAKE THE PLUNGE FOR CHARITY!
Nine members of staff faced their fears and abseiled more than thirty feet into a quarry in Rosyth on 31st March 2009.
This was to raise money for their direct service provider customers in the charity sector which include Circle Scotland, Deaf Action, Fylde Community Link, Mental Health Matters, Partners for Inclusion, Penumbra and the Thistle Foundation.
Some raced down in record time, however a couple required more than a little persuasion to be pushed over the edge!
The sponsorship money raised was put into a fund which was matched by Intrelate Ltd and distributed to the invited charities at a Mini Highland Games event to be held at Bush House on Saturday, 6th June 2009.
CONGRATULATIONS COLIN!
Congratulations to Colin Etchells of Intrelate who took part in the Chris Hoy Half Marathon in Edinburgh on 5th April 2009 to raise money for the Intrelate charity fund.
The marathon took place around the scenic coastline of the Firth of Forth. Colin got to the finishing line in a personal best time of 1 hr 47 minutes.
MINI HIGHLAND GAMES FUNDRAISER
Intrelate hosted a Mini Highland Games at Bush House on Saturday, 6th June 2009.
Several teams came from Intrelates's direct service provider customers in the charity sector. They competed against each other in various events such as tossing the caber, archery and welly wanging in order to win cash prizes for their charity organisations.
Points were awarded not only for skill, but also for entertainment value, so everyone was in with a chance!
Intrelate really worked in partnership with us, we had a shared vision. Their solution stood out as being capable of growing with us, providing us with the control to support our future requirements.
